As a Doula, Caitlin is privileged to have welcomed over 200 babies onto our planet. Her book, “The Tao of Birthing® – A Holistic Guide Through Preparation & Childbirth,” has been endorsed by David Chamberlain, Ph.D., Naoli Vinaver, Midwife, and Marsden Wagner, M.D.
In 1996, she studied with Ina May Gaskin and The Farm Midwives in Summertown, Tennessee, returning ten years later for further education in Midwifery Assistance. She was featured on an episode of the women's weekly Television series, "New Attitudes" with Penny Simkin, and she assisted Pam England and her "Birthing From Within" courses in San Francisco and in Santa Fe. In 2008, Caitlin was the featured Doula/Hypno-Doula on the Discovery Channel’s “Amazing Births.”
Caitlin has another job as well: ALL CLEAR, Professional Organizing, which entails the birthing of “environments.” In this capacity, she creates productive, open, structural spaces –- much the same as when preparing women for birth.
She was born and raised in L.A., and is a published photographer and magazine writer.
