From a successful massage practice of twenty years to her graduation,
with honors, from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, in Tarzana, California,
Caitlin's passion is to encourage expansion of heart, mind, psyche and
spirit.
Her work as a Birth Doula began in 1995. In 1996, she
studied with Ina May Gaskin and The Farm Midwives in Summertown, Tennessee,
returning ten years later for further education in Midwifery Assistance.
She was featured on an episode of the women's weekly Television series,
"New Attitudes," with Penny Simkin, and she assisted Pam England
and her "Birthing From Within" courses in San Francisco and
in Santa Fe.
As a Doula, Caitlin believes she has the best job in
the world and is privileged to have welcomed over 200 babies onto our
planet. In 2009 she will extend her course of education in Craniosacral Therapy to include Pediatrics - from newborns to age two.
Compassion and a curiosity for the human spirit reigns at the forefront of her motivation for continued studies, and is the source of inspiration for her work in artful service. She is, additionally, a published photographer and writer.
